STAYING SAFE WITH SHOPMOBILITY
To ensure the safety of all our members and staff during these difficult times we ask anyone visiting one of our centers to follow the rules we have put in place below.
Procedures are based on current Government guidelines and legislation
VISITING SHOPMOBILITY BELFAST
All centres now require advance booking. Please call the centre before arrival. Due to current regulations all visitors will be required to have their temperature taken before entry. Only one customer at a time (or two if accompanied by a carer) will be permitted to enter to maintain social distancing rules.
USE HAND SANITISER
Upon arrival at any Shopmobility centre visitors will be asked to sanitise their hands using the dispensers on offer at the entrance
WEAR A MASK
Shopmobility request visitors to wear a face-covering upon entering our centres. Staff and volunteers will wear the appropriate PPE when dealing with you.

If you are exempt from wearing a face-covering due to medical reasons please ensure you inform our staff
Social distancing
Social distancing measures have also been established within our centres. Upon arrival please follow the arrows placed on the ground to guide you safely through entering and exiting our centres
HOW SHOPMOBILITY ENSURE YOUR SAFETY
We at Shopmobility Belfast continue to maintain a clean environment throughout all its centres but during these trying times, the introduction of new cleaning procedures has been established with the main goal of ensuring the safety of all our members.

The methods that Shopmobility Belfast use on a daily basis to ensure such a goal is met can be seen below

DAILY DEEP CLEAN
At Shopmobility Belfast each centre receives a deep clean before opening at 10 am to ensure each centre is a clean and safe environment for all our members
This is repeated again at lunchtime and closing
All units will now close from 12.30 to 1.30 pm to facilitate additional cleaning
EQUIPMENT cleansing
All our equipment receives deep cleaning on a daily basis to ensure the safety of our members and staff
This process involves the sanitising and then steam cleaning of our wheelchairs and electric scooters before and after it has been used
Seat coverings are used on chairs and the covering is then removed and replaced until it is required by another member
STAFF kits
Shopmobility Belfast have issued all staff members and volunteers with a kit that contains the necessary Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to deal with members safely.

The kits contain face masks and visors, gloves and hand sanitiser as well as a thermometer to take temperatures of any visitors
Anyone with a high temperature will not be permitted to enter the premises

Arrow GUIDES
Shopmobility Belfast has set up floor indicators and arrow guides to direct our members safely around each centre. This allows for social distancing and signed entrances and exits to maintain a safe environment for both members and staff
