Shopmobility Belfast soon to launch their service at the Ulster Hospital, Dundonald
Shopmobility Belfast will be providing their FREE service at the Ulster Hospital from mid December.
By providing a mobility scooter or wheelchair free of charge, Shopmobility Belfast can help people who are attending the hospital for appointments or to visit family or friends. They will provide peace of mind so their users are able to access anywhere in the hospital grounds with greater freedom and independence.
The volunteers of the charity are even able to meet people in the car park on arrival and then later when they depart as part of their “meet and greet service”
Julie Guilar, Director of Shopmobility Belfast is delighted with the expansion of the Shopmobility Belfast service; “I would like to thank the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust for funding this opportunity. We will strive to help anybody with a mobility problem to easily access the hospital 9am-5pm Monday-Friday. We are excited to be part of what we anticipate will be a very successful and much needed service.”
