Since 2004 Shopmobility Belfast has operated a very successfully outreach program that has allowed many of our members, their carers and families to use the facilities of many of our parks, Zoo and historic locations.

 


Belfast Zoo

The zoo’s 55 acre site, located in the hills overlooking Belfast, is home to more than 1,200 animals and 140 species.

Scooters will be only given out to people who hold a valid Shopmobility Belfast or Shopmobility NI membership card.

Crawfordsburn Country Park (Co. Down)

Enjoy 3.5 Km of coastline on the southern shores of Belfast Lough passing beautiful beaches and rocky outcrops, with a backdrop of wooded glens and wildflower meadows.

Sentry Hill (Newtownabbey/Co. Antrim)

You can take a stroll around the informal garden at Sentry Hill before visiting the preserved farmhouse and get a rare insight into life in rural Ulster during the 19th and early 20th centuries.

Roe Vally (Co. Derry/Londonderry)

Roe Valley Country Park runs for three miles either side of the River Roe near Limavady. The river plunges through spectacular gorges and its banks are clothed with mature mixed woodland.  It is a beautiful tranquil location.
